Explore five reception rooms to find your ideal retreat. Select your preferred relaxation spot from the main lounge, complete with a spacious working fireplace for a cosy tea and cake session, the library for delving into the house's history, the games room boasting impressive wood panelling, high ceilings, and tapestries, the first-floor lounge offering scenic views over the lawn, or the bar for enjoying your favourite tipple. Each room is beautifully restored and expertly designed by interior designer Jeffrey Bilhuber adorned with rare antiques, tapestries, portraits, functional fireplaces, plush carpets, breathtaking views and everything you would expect from a house, rich in history whilst being full of charm and sophistication.

A Choice for Hosting

Whether you're hosting a grand dinner for up to 20 guests or a casual breakfast for 8, you can select between our elegant wood-panelled dining room or the cosy breakfast room adjacent to the kitchen to accommodate your friends and family. Alternatively, for those lazy spring mornings or long summer evenings, dine outside on our sun trapped terrace for up to 14 guests. 

Kitchen Area

Fully Equipped with All You Need

Our kitchen is fully equipped with two ovens including an impressive aga. Breakfast is included in your stay and Harriet will be on hand to prepare this for you or if you prefer we will just leave the pantry and fridge fully stocked.

For an additional fee, you have the option to engage our expert private chefs and attentive wait staff. All meals are prearranged prior to your arrival, with menus customized to suit your preferences and those of your guests. Choose from relaxed lunches, indulgent afternoon teas or carefully curated dinner menus. It’s all here for the taking.

Entertain the children or retreat to the exclusive screening room for some personal relaxation. Our cinema space offers a cosy environment for enjoying your preferred film. With the ability to connect to your movie apps, all you need now is the popcorn!

Escape to the annex where the children can be engaged for extended periods. A spacious TV and gaming console, snooker, giant Jenga, darts, foosball, and a variety of other activities are available. If you're looking for a party atmosphere, allow us to supply the bar and indulge in a full day of entertainment away from the main house.

Our recently renovated fitness centre and wellness area provide an ideal setting for relaxation. Utilise the entertainment system to stream your preferred class or interact with our expert fitness instructors for a nominal fee.
